यूरोप की आख़िरी सबसे ख़ूबसूरत नदी

वोजोसा यूरोप की बिना किसी अवरोध के बहने वाली आखिरी नदी है। इसकी लम्बाई 270 किलोमीटर है जो, यूनान से दक्षिणी अल्बानिया होते हुए एड्रियाटिक सागर तक बहती है। इस नदी पर अब तक कोई बाँध या बिजलीघर नहीं हैं। 
हाल में, अल्बानियाई अधिकारियों ने कपड़े की कंपनी पेटागोनिया के साथ एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किया है। यह कम्पनी इस नदी पर एक राष्ट्रीय उद्यान बनाने की योजना बना रही है। इतना ही नहीं, वोजोसा बेसिन में 45 जलविद्युत संयंत्र बनाने की योजना पर बातचीत चल रही है। इस परियोजना का प्रस्ताव कुछ कम्पनियों ने अल्बानियाई अधिकारियों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया। हालांकि, इन कम्पनियों को यूरोपीय पर्यावरण संगठनों के विरोध का सामना करना पड़ा। कार्यकर्ताओं ने जोर देकर कहा कि, सरकार को कम हानिकारक ऊर्जा स्रोतों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए न कि प्रकृति के साथ छेड़छाड़ करके।
